BONNIE P. BILLY MADE AN ALBUM ABOUT THIS OR SOMETHING

Something I have been seeing/feeling a lot recently is the importance of knowing when to let go. In the past it has been very difficult for me to let go of people, but there seems to be maturity in understanding that there can be very very good people who are not necessarily good for you--or even just not good for you at the time. It is okay to consider and then reconsider decisions about who is deserving of your love and care and affection (your love and care and affection being, after all, of incredible value) and the nice thing is that these decisions are rarely irreversible. Oftentimes, a person who may not seem like any sort of positive influence now can reappear later in a completely different and enriching way. On the other hand, it is also a good idea to periodically evaluate your reasoning for valuing the people that you do. If your reasons are lacking, then maybe it is time to let go. That isn't meant to sound harsh, but instead could lead to a greater appreciation for the people who enhance your life in a multitude of ways.

And uh, for good measure--check out this home. From the creators of this blog, which is a current fave.

obscure title reference and a positive message; overall, a fine post
